Bernice and Joe Engaged | Sur La Table | Ferry Building Wine Merchant | Pier 14 | Patrol Car
Bernice and Joe are foodies, and the Ferry Building Marketplace is one of their favorite places. We met up at Sur La Table, a great store thats all about good cooking and kitchenware. 1. 2. After that, they picked up snacks at the Golden Gate Meat Company market. The butchers are really friendly and let me shoot from behind the counter. 3. 4. 5. Further up in the hall is Ferry Building Wine Merchant, a well-stocked wine bar with an exciting ambiance. Its a great place for couples to meet up at the end of the day and I see why Bernice and Joe come here often. 6. 7. 8. Then a short walk outside, to pier 14. 9. 10. ...And the same spot where Joe proposed exactly a year ago. They didn't tell me it was their anniversary till then. The timing seemed to make this e-sesh especially meaningful for them, as well as for me. 11. Finally, we went to shoot with Joe's uniform and patrol car. I've always thought about doing this but logistically its REALLY tough to do. People seriously have no idea the kind of scrutiny that cops are under. Joe pulled it off though! Anything for his girl! 12. 13. 14. 15. 16. 17. Bernice, Joe, I can already tell that shooting your wedding is going to be crazy fun and full of real moments. Even in the wind and freezing cold temps we were able to achieve these great photos! I love your passion and creative mind! Many times Joe and I were often wondering where you were during our photo shoot because sometimes you were on the ground taking photos, in a completely different location then you were in 2 seconds prior, behind a meat counter or getting kicked out of Sur La Table to capture an amazing moment in your camera.
