Nahjeen + Brian Engagement | Joaquin Miller Park Oakland Hills

Nahjeen and Brian live in Oakland and share an easygoing, outdoorsy spirit which I wanted to bring out. We hiked around the wooded Joaquin Miller Park together, exploring breaking light, redwood trails, and green meadows.

Nina and I come here a lot on our own to walk our dogs. The Oakland hills is a vast hidden treasure. Brian enjoys riding both the roads and trails and this is one of the best places in the Bay Area to do them. He's a super nice guy and has me convinced that I need to get a mountain bike. Nahjeen also hikes and rides a little, but leaves the jumps and downhills to Brain.

Their gorgeous venue happens to be not too far away... I'm going to love shooting their Claremont Resort  wedding in May!
