WPPI | Awards of Excellence 16x20 Print Competition| Inspired by Clients
I attended the WPPI (Wedding and Portrait Photographers International) convention this past weekend in Las Vegas. Photographers of all markets and levels attend seminars, network, and learn to improve every aspect of running their photo businesses. I recommend that every professional photographer go to this, even non-wedding/portrait shooters. Everyone from photojournalists to advertising to corporate photographers can derive huge benefits from it.
The print competition is judged by panels of some of the best and most well-respected photographers in our niche. Merit is based on creativity, technical execution, and print quality. It was a nice surprise to see two (out of three) of my prints receive the WPPI Award of Excellence.

Thanks again to my clients. It is THEIR unique personalities that make fun images like these possible.
I get my inspiration from my subject's personalities because that's what they truly love about about each other. I'm interested in their relationships, more than pretty backgrounds or trendy concepts.
So congratulations to them for being themselves!
